Terms of Service

Last updated: 6/13/2026. By using proclips you agree to these terms. Placeholder copy — replace before launch with a lawyer-reviewed document for your jurisdiction.

1. The service

proclips is an AI-powered video clipping platform. You give us source video; we generate short-form clips, captions, and related assets. You retain ownership of your content and your outputs.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.

3. Rights attestation

When you submit a video, you confirm you own it or are licensed to use and create derivative works from it. proclips is not responsible for content you do not have the right to clip.

4. Acceptable use

Your use of proclips is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.

5. Plans, billing & refunds

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Refunds, cancellation rules, and credit top-up handling are described in our Refund Policy.

6. License you grant us

You grant proclips a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your content to train public models.

7. AI outputs

AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publishing. We make no warranty that outputs are fit for any particular purpose.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep the service running but make no uptime guarantees on Free or Starter tiers. SLA commitments for higher tiers are documented in Support.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the platform. Provisions that should survive termination (IP, liability, indemnity, governing law) survive.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, proclips' aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold proclips harmless from claims arising out of content you submit or your violation of these terms.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which proclips is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts there.
