Acceptable Use Policy

1. Content you submit

By processing a video on proclips you confirm that you either own the content, are the licensed rights holder, or have explicit permission from the rights holder to create derivative clips.

2. Prohibited content

• Sexual content involving minors (CSAM) — reported to NCMEC and law enforcement immediately.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery or deepfakes of real people.
• Content that incites violence, terrorism, or self-harm.
• Targeted harassment, hate speech, or content promoting discrimination.
• Malware, phishing material, or content used to defraud.
• Material that infringes third-party intellectual property.

3. Prohibited platform use

• Reselling raw API responses or reverse-engineering the service.
• Automated mass-account creation or abuse of free credits.
• Bypassing rate limits, watermarks, or paid-tier gating.
• Scraping other users' projects or clip outputs.

4. AI-specific rules

Voice cloning, face swaps, and likeness manipulation are not permitted unless you can demonstrate consent from the person depicted. We may require written proof for high-profile likenesses.

5. Enforcement

Violations may result in content removal, credit forfeiture, account suspension, or termination without refund. Serious violations are reported to the appropriate authorities. We may preserve content as required by law.

6. Reporting abuse

Report violations to abuse@proclips.app. Copyright complaints go through our DMCA process.
